I’m a bit of a lush, I must confess. I love a good drink and I love finding new ways to enjoy my favorite drinks. Since I had the house to myself a few weeks ago, I thought I would relax and get a little bit of writing done. I had been craving a beergarita, but not so much the liquor that people put in theirs. So I adapted the recipe to make something a little lighter but still just as refreshing. This is a tasty drink, but a bit tart. It goes down smooth though! I never did get much writing done that evening…
What you need:
- 3 – 7 oz. Coronitas
- 1 – 16 oz. can of frozen limeade concentrate
- 1 – 24 oz. bottle of lemon-lime soda (I used Sierra Mist, but you can also use Sprite or whatever you want)
Since I wanted a cold drink, I put all of my ingredients into the freezer for about 2 hours, long enough for the soda to become slushy. This helps to keep the drink cold without watering it down with ice.
Combine the limeade concentrate and the soda into a pitcher, stir. Add in the Coronitas and stir gently!
Serve and enjoy!
